Work immigration

At Nomadexus, we provide practical support to skilled workers who need a residence permit or registration to live and work in Norway. Our goal is to make the process as smooth and predictable as possible, so you can focus on your new opportunities in Norway.

Permit as a skilled worker

We check if you meet the requirements for a skilled worker residence permit

We prepare all necessary documents, pay the application fee, and submit the application on your behalf

We apply for early start permission if applicable, so you can start working sooner

We stay in contact with the authorities and keep you updated on the progress

We follow up when the permit is granted, schedule appointments for your ID check, and guide you on the next steps

Renewals and updates

If you already have a residence permit as a skilled worker, you must apply for renewal before your current permit expires.
We assist you with the renewal process, ensuring that your application is submitted correctly and on time.

If your situation changes — for example, if you change employers or job positions — we help you update your residence status.

If you hold a residence permit under the Brexit transitional rules, we also assist you with renewals to ensure you continue to meet the requirements.

Family immigration for skilled workers

What we do:

We check whether your family members meet the conditions to join you in Norway

We prepare all necessary documents, pay the application fee, and submit the family immigration application on behalf of your family

We make sure all paperwork is complete and meets official requirements

We stay in contact with the authorities and follow up on the application

We schedule appointments for the ID check and guide you through the next steps

Tip:
If your family members apply at the same time as you apply for your skilled worker residence permit, both applications can be processed together, making the waiting time shorter.
We help you coordinate the applications to save time and reduce uncertainty.

Normally, you must wait until your residence permit is approved before starting work.
In some cases, it is possible to apply for early start permission.
We assess your situation and assist with the application if you are eligible.

It depends on the type of permit you hold.
If your permit is tied to your job title (such as engineer or project manager), you can usually change employers without applying for a new permit, as long as you continue in the same role.
If your permit is tied to a specific employer or assignment, you must apply for a new residence permit before starting the new job.
We help you review your current permit and advise you on the next steps.

When you start working in Norway, you must apply for a tax card and later submit a tax return.
We assist you with both, making sure you meet all requirements and claim all deductions you are entitled to.
